Chick Peas


    1 x 400 gram can chick-peas
    4 tomatoes
    1 small onion, sliced
    1 teaspoon tomato puree
    salt and pepper

    1. Drop the tomatoes into a pan of boiling water and quickly remove. Peel and chop the tomatoes.

    2. Place in pan with the sliced onion and seasoning. Pour in the contents of the can of chick-peas.

    3. Bring the mixture to the boil. Cover with a lid and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Serves 2-3.
